My Little Misters and I went to spend an afternoon with friends at the Franconia Sculpture Garden a couple of Saturdays ago. I had never been before but have always wanted to stop whenever we drive past. I was so beautiful and sunny out that I got my first sunburn of the year, but it was well worth it as the sculptures were interesting and colorful to observe.
I’ve got some family photo sessions booked for this weekend and I wanted to find a few different locations. While searching online, I stumbled on a photo of a new park and art mural in downtown. I was so excited, I just had to go check it out in person. My youngest came along and actually volunteered to model for me. I love these photos of him being himself. Art is awesome when its simple, colorful and includes a spiral of giant circles!
Our newest niece made her appearance into the world on Labor day. My family went up to visit and hold her when she was about 12 hours old. On her second day I went to the hospital with my camera to take my twin sisters new family photos with all five of them. When this little sweetie was a week old I spent her afternoon nap taking even more adorable portraits.
This little beauty was my new best friend until I tried to take her picture, then she wanted nothing to do with me. I was so happy when I actually got her comfortable in front of the camera. All the sudden she stared right at me and I knew I had a great shot. Her eyes are so stunning and I love those curls.

My twin sister is expecting her third child. I’m so excited for their new addition we’ll meet in a few short weeks. We went out the other night after dinner to capture a few family photos of just the four of them before they become a family of five. The youngest (about 19 months old) is quite the little powerhouse mover. It was a bit of a surprise to get so many photos of him sitting, but I also got some fun photos of him not wanting his picture taken.
